Cross Country is open to all 3rd - 8th grade (2010 - 2011 school year) boys and girls. We will practice every Tuesday, from 3pm - 4:15pm, starting September 7. Practices run through October. We practice behind the school. We will participate in 5 meets. The meet schedule will be available in late August. The meets are usually Tuesday or Thursday, starting at 3:30pm, and are over by 5pm. IHM students will be dismissed from school at 2:30pm to participate in the meets. Registration fee is $35 and $25 for each additional child.

Cross Country Race Directions Pinewood Elementary School : Take the beltway to 83 north to exit 16B, Timonium Road west. Get off the exit and bear to the right. At the traffic light, turn right onto Timonium Rd. Go under the 83 bridge and make the first right on Pine Valley Drive. Go 2 blocks and make a right onto Sandee. Then make a left on Rickswood Rd.Riderwood Elementary School: Take the beltway to the Falls Rd. north exit. Turn right at the first light which is Joppa Rd. Go straight 2 miles or so and make a left onto Thornton. Go about 3 blocks to Landrake and you should see the school on the left. Hampton Elementary School: Take 695 to Exit 27B, Dulaney Valley North. Get in the left hand lane on Dulaney Valley Rd. Make a left on Charmuth Rd. and the school is on the right. Rodgers Forge Elementary School: Take Putty Hill across Burke Avenue. Make a left onto York Rd. Pass Stevenson intersection and make a right on Dunbarton Rd. The school is the second one on the right. Linover Park: Putty Hill to Rossville Blvd. Follow Rossville Blvd. and make a right onto Lillian Holt Blvd. Cross over beltway overpass and make next right into the park entrance. Herring Run Park: Go south on Harford Rd. into the city. Make a left onto Chesterfield Ave. Herring Run Park will be on your left hand side. The race begins along side the soccer field at the foot of the hill. The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade races will begin by the backstop closest to the Harford Road bridge. Stoneleigh Elementary School: Take Taylor Ave. to Loch Raven Blvd. Make a left on Loch Raven Blvd. Make a right on Regester Ave. You’ll pass Sherwood Rd. intersection. Go 2 blocks further and make a right on Kenleigh. Go around the bend in the residential neighborhood. Ruxton Campus of Jemicy: Take I-83 to Shawan Road, west exit. Follow Shawan Road to intersection of Falls Road. Proceed straight. Shawan Road becomes Tufton Road. At the end of the road, turn left onto Greenspring Avenue. Turn right onto Garrison Forest Road. The school is on the right side of the road. OR take 695 west to exit 20 toward Garrison. Turn right onto Reisterstown Rd. Turn right onto St. Thomas Lane. Turn left onto Garrison Forest Rd. Jemicy School is on the left. Krieger Schechter: 8100 Stevenson Road, Pikesville, MD 410-486-8642. Take 695 Baltimore Beltway towards Towson, then take exit 21 (Stevenson road). As you travel up the exit the school is right in front. Turn right onto Stevenson Road and make first left into school driveway. Go down towards the soccer fields. The start line is close by. Jemicy School: 11 Celadon Road, Owings Mills, MD 410-653-2700 Take 695 Baltimore Beltway west towards Towson, then take exit 21. Make a left off of the exit onto Stevenson Road heading south. Turn right at first light on Radio Tower Rd. Make a right onto Park Heights Ave. After crossing Greenspring Valley Road, go a half mile and make a left on Velvet Valley Way. Make the first left onto Velvet Valley court and then make a left onto Celadon Road St. James Academy: 3100 Monkton Road, Monkton MD 410-771-4816 From 695 take Exit 27, Dulaney Valley Road North. After the reservoir bear left onto Jarrettsville Pike. Continue through Jacksonville to Manor Road. Turn left. Go to 3100 Monkton road. Entrance on right before church. Odyssey School: Take I-695 W towards Towson. Take the Greenspring Ave. exit #22. Take the Greenspring Ave. North ramp. Turn left onto Greenspring Ave. Turn left onto Bridle Ridge Lane. Odyssey School is 3257 Bridle Rdg. St. Joseph's Fullerton: 8416 Belair Rd, Baltimore 21236. Take 695 E to exit 32B, Belair Rd/US-1 North towards Bel Air. St. Joseph's is 1.7 miles ahead on your left (west side). Archbishop Curley High School: Take Putty Hill to Belair Road. Make a right onto Belair Road. You will be heading toward the city. Stay on Belair Road until you come to Moravia Rd. (Land Marks: There is a big church on one corner and a cemetery on the opposite corner) Turn left onto Moravia. Stay on Moravia for 4 red lights. At the 4th light turn right onto Sinclair Lane. Traveling on Sinclair Lane you will go past 3 lights. Curley is on the left. You will pass the football field and then see the parking lot. Turn left into the parking lot.
